EvilShare.com is offering free file sharing for any users in return for advertising when users download your uploaded files.

Features
Any user can upload files using this service and that is without even registering. When you upload you have several different options including file description, when the file should be deleted (if needed), whether the file should be deleted after 5 downloads (again if needed) and much more. You can also upload several files at a time.

There is a file size limit of 128 MB and files deleted after 10 days of inactivity (no downloads for 10-day period), or after 3 days if there are less than 5 downloads of the file.

Interface
The website is very easy to use and there really isn’t anything to complain about maybe except for the quite ugly upload window.

Speed
The speed is fairly good.

Support
YourWebStorage hasn’t been in contact with support yet.

Good things:
• Easy to use
• Many upload options

Bad things:
• Soft adult advertsing on download pages

BlogBackupOnline is as the name says a blog backup service which was created by Techrigy that specializes in blogs, wikis and other forms of social media.

Features
Getting started with BlogBackupOnline is easy as you just enter your URL for your blog(s) and you will then get a overview of the blog including what blog software it is running. It wasn’t possible to add all blogs though even if it was running WordPress but for most it worked without problems.

With the free plan you can store upto 5 MB of data. While it doesn’t sounds like much you have to remember it is only raw text that is being backed up meaning you will have to write a lot of characters before reaching the 5 MB. Their paid plans allows upto 1 GB of storage and these plans also allows you to backup any images in your blog posts.

With the paid plans you can also restore your blogs while you can only export your data to an XML file with the free plan.

Finally you can select to do an automatic backup daily with all three plans.

Interface
Because of the automatoc blog detector available it is very easy to get started with. After running it you get a good overview of your blog including the backed up posts, when it was backed up the last time adn how much data it occupies.

Support
YourWebStorage hasn’t been in contact with support yet.

Good things:
• Easy to use
• Price

Bad things:
• Amount of storage

Their free plan offers 25 GB of storage. Besides the free plan The Linkup offers several subscriptions that are all paid and ranging from 100 to 2500 GB of storage which should be more than enough for most.

Besides the basic upload and download functions you don’t get access to any features.

Interface

ADrive.com was created in 2007 and the aim is to offer the highest amount of storage available for free.

Features
With ADrive you get 50 GB of storage with almost zero limitations for your account. There is a file size limit of 2 GB but that should only affect very few people. You can edit your uploaded files using the built-in editor Zoho Writer (http://writer.zoho.com) but whenever you start it you need to have patience as it can take a while before it starts up.

It is very easy to share your files and folders and with a single click you can also send a mail with a link to your shared files.

ADrive says that accounts aren’t being deleted even if accounts aren’t being accessed over a longer period.

Interface
The interface is decent and not much more than that. Because of the limited features it is easy to find your way around your uploaded files, shared files, account settings etc.

Speed
The upload and download speed is good but it wasn’t possible to upload very large files as the upload timed out every time. Whether this is a permanent issue or not can’t be said.

Support
YourWebStorage hasn’t been in contact with support yet.

Good things:
• Easy-to-use interface
• A good amount of storage

Bad things:
• No software client
• Few features
• No upgrades

ElephantDrive is a online storage service that mainly has focus on offering paid storage services but also offers a simple free solution.

Features
You only get 1 GB storage with the free plan but can get upto 2 terabyte with the paid plans. With the free plan there is also a file size limit of 90 MB that you won’t haev to worry about if you order one of the other plans. Finally you also have a limit of 1 GB of downloads per month with the free plan.

Besides being able to upload files via your browser ou can also install their software client that lets you view your storage account together with the rest of your computer drives. From the software client you acn also share your files although in a limited way as you will have to type the e-mail adress for anyone that you want to share your files with.

If you are looking for more high-end features ElephantDrive offers that as well as you can get additional encryption options, open file support, maintain older version of files and much more.

Interface
The browser interface is pretty straightforward and is easy to getting used to. Maybe it could be easier to see how to use certain features but other than that there is nothing to complain about. The software client is even better and a thing like being asked what you want to backup the first time you install the client is a really nice thing. To make things even easier you can also download an applicication that lets you map your account like a regular network drive so it won’t get much more user friendly than that.

Speed
The upload and download speed couldn’t be much better.

Support
YourWebStorage hasn’t been in contact with support yet.

Good things:
• Excellent software client
• A lot of storage on paid subscriptions
• High-end backup features on paid subscriptions

Bad things:
• Small amount of storage on free plan
• File size limit on free plan

Founded in 2007 humyo.com offers both free and paid online storage letting users easily share files with other people.

Features
humyo.com offers 30 GB of storage with their free plan and 100 GB with their paid plan. With the free plan the allowed storage is split up into two meaning you have 25 GB for media files (photos, music and video) and 5 GB for all other files. On top of that there is no file size limit like many other providers use.

Besides the storage and no file size limit you also get mobile access, the option to send any files (again with no size limit) and the option to be able to embed media directly to your website.

What really makes humyo.com stand out is their software client though as it is simply excellent. After the installation is done it assign your account to a network drive (done through an easy guide) and you can now access your humyo.com account like a regular partition on your computer. The file upload and deleting are only a few minutes delayed if you access your account through the browser at the same time which can’t be much better. Sadly there is an “if” regarding this option as you can only use it for 14 days with the free account.

With the paid plan you can upgrade so you get 100 GB of storage and unlike the free plan it isn’t divided up into what type of files you can upload. You can also get encrypted file transfers and your files aren’t deleted either (they are deleted after 90 days without being logged in with the free plan). You can also let other users edit your shared files. And finally you can use the software client for as long as you like.

Interface
The entire interface is excellent and very easy to use. The software client is even better as it is pretty much similar to any partition you already have with your operating system.

Speed
Both upload and download speed is fast.

Support
We haven’t been in contact with support yet.

Good things:
• Price on upgrade
• No limit on file size
• Speed
• The interface

Bad things:
• Software client only available for 14 days with the free plan
• Predefined file categories with the free plan

Box.net was founded in 2005 and offers both free and paid online file storage with a long list of extra services that you can enable for your account.

Features
Their free plan includes 1 GB of storage for free and with the option to upgrade your account to get more storage and a few other improvements. The free plan also has a maximum file size limit of 10 MB.

With the paid plans you can get up to 15 GB of storage and with a file size limit of 1 GB most files should be uploadable. You also get phone support, mobile access and it is even possible to get custom branding.

On all plans including the free one there are no limits on the amount of transfer but you should assume that if you generate a lot of traffic you will at least get a notification especially if you are using the free plan. Box.net also makes it very easy to share files and also offers the opportunity to integrate your files to other web services you might use.

The thing that makes Box.net stand out from many of its competitors is the option to enable services. Those range from document editing to image editing and much more. You have a wide range of services that you can enable and each one has a good description so you get the idea of what they can do.

Interface
The interface is very good looking and overall works very good. With their own customized context menu you always have the most needed features and options available with a right click. The only negative thing is that it contain a lot of graphics and can be a bit slow.

Speed
The upload and download speed couldn’t be much better.

Support
YourWebStorage hasn’t been in contact with support yet.
